Wilson Case has been a leader in the shipping case manufacturing business for more than three decades, and in that time, we’ve custom-designed cases for a wide selection of industries. Our cases are used to transport many types of sensitive and proprietary equipment, including Roland event gear, HDTV and LCD displays for presentations, FEMA and disaster relief supplies, mobile medical stations, aerospace lenses, and more. Many of our engineers and workers have been with the company for more than 10 years and have additional, extensive experience in manufacturing custom cases.
We diligently create and execute new solutions to common shipping challenges, and we stake our reputation on manufacturing just about any kind of carrying case that customers can imagine. We offer paneling that’s 30% and 45% lighter than other types of container paneling, ensuring that all custom carrying cases from Wilson Case really are as easy to carry as they are to load and unload. Whether you need a case with a built-in mechanical lift, specially designed foam cutouts, or organizational drawers, tilt bins, or trays, we’ll work with you to design the case that overcomes your biggest shipping concerns. What’s more, we’ll ensure your case is designed in line with all the regulations you’ll encounter for your industry (ATA-300, MIL-810, C-41051), shipping locations, and even choice of transportation (TSA).
How We Make Custom Carry Cases
Before we design your custom case, we’ll discuss the equipment you need to transport, how you plan to transport it, and any challenges you may face so that we can determine which materials and design specifications best serve your needs. After this discussion, you’ll need to send us a file showing the dimensions of the equipment you need to transport.
Using this file in SolidWorks, our 3D CAD modeling program, our engineers will specially design your case to suit all of your specifications. Upon completion, we’ll send this file to you so you can see exactly what we’ll be delivering, and once you’re satisfied with the design, the file goes to our shop floor for manufacturing.
All materials are precisely cut according to your design file, which is converted to CNC computer protocols that are accurate down to a thousandth of an inch. Our skilled and experienced workers will assemble your case by hand using proven construction techniques. Once completed, the custom-made carrying cases are delivered to you promptly; you can expect to receive your cases within 10-14 business days after you’ve placed your order. Your satisfaction with the final product is of the highest importance to us, which is why we offer a limited lifetime warranty.
