NEWS UPDATE: LOCKHEED MARTIN VISITS WILSON CASE

June 24, 2008:
Lockheed Martin Engineer Mike Jorgensen made a stop at Wilson Case recently with $1.5 million F-22 Raptor Demonstrator. For the last 5 years, Mike and his team have used Wilson cases to protect their delicate equipment when it is on the road or in storage. They go to approximately 25 events annually to tell the Raptor story.

The F-22 Raptor is revolutionary in design and capabilities. With such technology comes great investment and a strategic marketing plan. The $1.5 million demonstrator plays a key role in this plan. If it arrives to an event damaged—It is costly to the program. Lockheed Martin trusts Wilson Case to protect its investment.

Wilson Case designed shipping cases for Lockheed Martin that will not only protect the demonstrator and all of its peripherals, but cut down on set-up and packing time as well. Some of their cases include ramps, drawers, multiple entries, rackmounts and shockmounts. Lockheed Martin's staff operates the computer that controls the demonstrator right out of a Wilson case.

During their visit to Wilson Case, Mike and his assistant, Fred Wolfe set up the demonstrator and graciously welcomed Wilson Case employees to take the F-22 for a “simulated spin”. All of our staff left the cockpit with big grins.
